Welcome! My name is Lori Russell and I’m a mental health therapist and drug and alcohol counselor based in Cottage Grove, Oregon. My goal is to help you reach your full potential, recover from painful events, solve persistent problems, find joy in life, repair relationships, and anything else that may enhance your life experience. I provide services in a supportive, encouraging, and motivational environment. Let’s start your journey!

Approach

My approach in general may be seen as a combination of humanistic-existential. Humanists believe that individuals are seeking to become the best versions of themselves through self-actualization. Existentialists believe that humans have free choice, and that we can create purpose and meaning in our lives.

I will view your difficulties considering how you view yourself, and how you view yourself in relation to other people in the context of your past, present circumstances, and your wishes for the future.
